The SOHC in my 32' Roadster 1965 F250 1966 F100 w/ a 427 Side Oiler Eliminator with Ram Air 428CJ Shelby Convert
Check post #66 Some of the stories start out with this being one of two Shelby Can-Am cars. The current owner is a judge in Long Beach Ca..........
That would be Barry's that was built for the Engine Masters Challenge, but not ready in time- has the best of everything, and for sale on epay This one is old-style nasty, 406 car with 14:1 427, DeLong cam, C6 w/ 4000 converter, and 5.14 gears- ever ride in a healthy big-block car with 5.14's, big tires, and four feet of trunk over them? Jumps pretty good, and absolutely devastating to the egos of brainwashed kids in Camaros
Here's my '59 352 from my Skyliner, before and after. All dressed in stock garb.... for now! Still looking for an original 3x2 air cleaner for the '66 Setup slated to go on top one day.
Forgot this, my restored 66 GTA Fairlane convertible with 390FE. Ozzie cars had colour coded engine bays and weren't black like our US cousins.
Pictured are two different 406 Ford Racing issue FE's. The one with the chrome valve covers is the earlier. I sent the block in to a specialty shop to strengthen the main bearing webs. The other is a later run and it has that strengthening already factory performed. Both run fast, have lots of torque and rarely disappoint me. There has been a lot of work done to both head sets. Some of you guys have the disease REAL bad!! You'll either have to be rehabbed and weaned off them real slow - or come to my place for an intervention!
Slickhale, that 352 is tits.Absolutely tits. Very inspirational indeed. Here's my 390 with the Cobra vc's, but I have a tripower on the workbench, which will swap place with the Edelbrock and those vc's will be swapped with original. I really like the look of the 352 above and need to find a color mix to suit the Viper blue metallic on the car, which is a 63 1/2 Mercury Marauder buy the way.
Well my FE can not compare to the SOHC motors and the FE's in the high end rides shown on this thread, buts here it is.
