Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera for the highlight of my evening, when that dude caught his leg on fire trying to light his cigarette off the flamethowers of a car. Amazingly enough John, we did make it back! We would have much rather stayed a hotel in Milwaukee, but they were all full! We kept driving looking for one. Then by the time we were halfway back to Sycamore we said "Fuck it" and kept on driving. We got in around 3 a.m. The funny thing is that we would have got back at 1 if we wouldn't have been looking for a hotel.

We went to some other show on Sunday and got skunked by all the musclecars. Some guy commented that Drew's roadster was "the most disrespectful thing he has ever seen". I think that is a compliment!

WTF does that mean?? I got home at 1:30. It was tough to stay awake. I hate driving late at night.

I'm shocked that you guys drove home.. With all them folks tagging the wall , what happened?? Then the dude that flew off the off ramp, wheels lock-up then- holy shit. Glad to hear that everyone made it home safe.. It was a blast !!

 

Coolio had a loose wire on the alternator, so it was charging, it would die then start again, etc. I was getting nervous myself. It's all good now, for a homebuilt!
