I just cleared out an old hot rod garage and came across some fiberglass E&J style headlight buckets. Although not my taste, is anyone looking for a cheaper alternative . No idea of value, but I’d like to sell them… any takers?
Not my style by a long shot but I'd bet even money that someone will be sending you a PM before the day is over. It takes a special build for those to really look part of the total look rather than stuck on as an afterthought because one thinks they are worth a stack of Bubba points. When they look right they rock though.
I had a set of fiberglass one's on my Roadster. I didn't care for the look on my car. I like them on other cars though. I took them off, and now it seems they grew legs and walked out of my shop, I can't find them. Oh, I bought mine at the LA Roadster show swapmeet about 25 years ago. I painted mine tan to match the scallops.
Also, looking at your pictures, those are the same as the one's I had. Mine also had the ring to go on the headlight end, as well as the piece to hold the headlights, all fiberglass.
