Anyone know where you can purchase a fibergl*** frontend for a 55? I've looked all over the net and came up empty handed. Some help would be much appreciated.

There was a guy making the fenders a few years ago but I'm not sure if he's making them anymore.

I don't think a one piece fibergl*** front was ever offered.

I've talked to Showcars Bodyparts about one for my '56 but haven't pulled the trigger yet:

I think his quote was about $1500 or so shipped to me in MI.

I read somewhere on the main board that folks have had varying success with their stuff, the pictures I saw of the front end on the website looked pretty good I thought...

Yep NO luck with any fibergl*** frontend parts so far...... The showcars body parts seems to like to rip people off. There is atleast 4 complaints to the BBB about them not shipping peoples parts. Can anyone think of anyone else make front fenders, or a tilt?

Well I got in touch with thefairlaneguy, he is not making any parts till atleast march of next year. Wow this is gonna set me back!

  10. I was going to have a one piece front end made for my old '53 drag car. I asked here to see if anyone else wanted one, but there wasn't much interest. I found a guy advertising on CL for doing boat fibergl*** work and asked if he'd be able to handle it. Luckily he was also a gearhead and made alot of fibergl*** parts for his camaro race car, so he offered to do a 1-piece nose for me for $700.

If it's a race car, you can get a 55 chevy 1-piece nose, and modify it to look more like a Ford.
