With no mags any longer, don't go to rod runs, have lost contact with the commercial rod market. Are there still companies making pre-war Willys coupe bodies? And Ford bodies for that matter?

ScottRods in west Ohio and A & C in Buffalo NY both make high quality bodies

Mine is an A and C. It was a shock to me at just how good it was. Go back and look at my builds. It’s pretty nice. Wished I hadn’t gotten the hidden hinges and had gotten the stock. That way I could have put the pull pins like the Prefect and Opel Kadet and remove the doors and hang them easy. Everything is there I just didn’t at the time. Hind sight

Willys in my avatar is an Outlaw, bought 2 of them #24 & #25. Would by a chopped '33 if they made one.

I haven’t don’t the Final Cut and buff. I have some orange peel in the clear right behind the door on both sides. And for the life of me I haven’t figured out how. It’s the most access able area when I sprayed it. Go figure.Do yourself a favor. Buy the grill /headlight ***emblies and let them do the front cap and trunk hinges. It will actually save you money and time in the long haul. Again also I wished I would have done the stock hinges so could quick pin the doors. But it shuts very solid. Is well built lots of structure reinforcement in the critical areas. I would buy another one( 33 pick up ) in a heart beat if offered and I had the coin
Also this is a street body. I have total weight with ***embled car and me. And that’s as you see cage and all. I was shocked. As in how light it really was. .
