Customs Fiberglassing questions

    I was wondering if you could grab a junkyard fan shroud, then section/slice/trim to what final size/shape you want using THAT as a buck. They are only $10.63 at the local LKQ pick-a-part around here. Coat with mold release then pop it loose when hardened and finish the surface.

    Got started. Can’t believe how much the fan is out of range if the radiator. I actually considered replacing it with an electric, but I’ve always preferred mechanical. I made a metal “lip” to give the blades some room. It was a hoot stretching around that. Wish I can some jersey fabric but I used a snowman flannel sheet that found its way into my garage (came with an item I brought home years ago to protect my cat interior) please don’t judge lol it should be fine but if I don’t like it I’ll re-do it with jersey

    Making the buck was actually a fun job; I don’t mind having done if this way. But that’s a good idea
