If ya are, from what I can see if that design, well let's just say I was very impressed. Hmmmmm...00Mack....why didn't I think of a HAMB handle like that! Joel
If I can get Slag to help me post pics of some stuff Id be more than happy to but he may be tired from removing 10 gallons of 20 year old plastic from my merc.
I rechecked the "Englishtown" post and yep, that's a helluva style ya got there. Welcome!, again. Joel
I gots a question, Is this you? or the guy who was striping the flacon??? I watched the guy(you?) pinstriping the dash for about 5 minutes vs another person half a hour on the falcon. No problems here man, As far as the Merc goes,Ill post some pics in a few days. Its an old east coast car chopped by Maratta in 1955 in Hartford Conn. ASfar as that 41 goes Id love to do one the way Barris did for Snooky Janich
How to post pictures.. When your in the respond page, type out what you want to say, then make sure the Check mark is in that tiny box that says " i want to pre view my post and/or attach a file" Then hit continue When your in the next page, the preview post page.. Click Browse.. This will open up your files.. Just go into your saved pictures and click the picture you want to show us... Then hit open .. Hit continue and it should show up in the post.. If it says , no larger than 70000 bites, you must hit the back*****on and resize the picture in paint shop, or some kind of microsoft program.. Hope this helps .. steve
.........this guy has "absorbed" waaaay too much lead over those 15 years! He's a*****in' perfectionist!!! .....welcome Anthony...... Interesting side note: While talking with "metalhotrodgirl" (I hope I got that right?), she said that she didn't have any One Shot.......Anthony opened his paint box and pulled out a can and gave it to her and told her to enjoy!! Good guy........

Easier said than done.. trust me.. Me and Metalhotrodgril are good friends... What a small world..
What did you do ?drop it straight at the posts the quarter windows look good and most important it aint too high in the back .. i cant wait to see the Chevy
We accually messed up chopping it 2ce. We weren't going to put a peice in the middle of the car. But some how we got confused from an old 1960 cali book which showed a 47 ford getting choped and we cut the roof in half.. Even though we didnt need the long peice, it played out pretty good and gave it an extra 2 inches in the rear but was a night mare for warpage and plastic work.. Another mistake was by me... I did my math wrong and cut the rear window out with out leaving enough to build on.. It also played out better, when we went to slant the rear window back .. It gave it a more low profile chop .. Its choped 4 1/2 in the front and 4 7/8s in the rear to give it less of a hump.. You can see a tiny hump, but its nothing compared to the original ... Hes a pic around september of last year..
I think that 41 Fords (short doors)are one of those cars that ndde to be split to give you those long beautiful 1/4 windows that you have Perfect roof!!!!!! WHAT OTHER CUSTOMS ARE FROM YOUR FAMILY??????
That was another reason we sold it... We got the body and frame about 2 years ago for 500.. we thought, even if we F*cked the chop up, its barly no loss.. just some more experience... We never knew it would come this far.. We really didnt like the short door..and with the rear end that Fat, we sold it to get something better looking ..Even though it looked pretty damn cool after we chopped it.. We have a 47 chevy pro street coupe.. Tubbed, hand made frame, sbc, Mustang II, sectioned hood.. etc.. My pop built it about 6 years ago , back when billet and tweed was in "style" .. The funds from the sled are going to this thing to get a whole make over... From interior to paint..(possible chop) This thing should look pretty damn good We also have a 87 cavalier drag car.. 8 years to build this damn thing.. Front wheel conversion, SBC runs low 9s... 30k invested , in a car that cant sell for more than 18k ...
whats up White...glad to see ya made it over to the hamb...,Mike...heres some more of Whites work... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/598108
