My 57 project has a ‘74 350 with a 922 bell housing I put on based on a previous thread you all helped me with. The car came with some linkage parts, but they seem to be a puzzle. The z bar looks like a ‘55 bar, but I can’t quite place the fork or push rod. I’ve tried getting it all together, but it seems to not match up too well. Before I spring for replacements, thought I’d ask you all for a second opinion.

Any advice is very much appreciated!

Looks like you have the wrong adjusting rod and maybe the wrong fork. 57 clutch.JPG 57 clutch2.JPG

There’s a half a dozen forks and some are really weird for trucks. . I just installed the pinned one and it’s got some miss alignment slop but not like the ball style. The stock one for 57 with the pin in the illustration is the best in my opinion with the slot in the fork keeping the pushing rod with no bind. All the parts are available as repops.
