Unfortunately, you'll find that about 80% of the HAMB secretly aspires to be oil industry lobbyists, so you rarely get fruitful discussions about alternate power for hot rods here. Me, I'm fascinated. I could see owning an electric '32 Ford, a biodiesel Square 'Bird, or an ethanol-powered Gasser, but most guys are gasoline until they die. Thanks for the link, though. -Dave
Absolutely, me too. You know they're actually taking steps to start making ethanol out of biomass and recycled materials now? The corn growers are going to be pissed, but just imagine how great it will be to see stuff like grass clippings and old cardboard boxes get turned into fuel instead of filling up dumps. It almost makes you feel good to be a car guy. -Dave
