Dill or Schrader brand. We would ONLY use those brands in the business.’
Rebuild kits are/were available for both push on and clip on styles.

Yeahhhhh, but your air is upside down! Do your tires go flat on the top down there? Lol...

Let's face it, most everything you can buy nowadays is imported junk. It may be new but that doesn't mean it's any good. Be aware that some makes of Schrader valve can pass more air than others, too.

The air chuck I use has to be 30 or more years old, its inflated a lot of tires over the years. Its wore out and loose. It doesn't grab anything, and sometimes you have to push it onto the stem a couple times or hold it just right to get it to seal. My son hates it.

My son bought me a new air chuck a few months ago, it seems to fit every stem pretty tight, You almost have to jerk it off the stems, I don't like it much.

I'm trying to remember if my old chuck was more tight when it wasn't old and wore out...

Some chucks have fine teeth or ridges in them to hold to the stem, some don’t. We always used that kind to inflate truck tires, you could hang it on the stem and walk away while it was inflating so you were away if the tire blew. I’ve got an old one I’ve had for so long the chrome is worn off down to the copper or brass, it will hold on some valves and others it won’t.

Good to see an actual endorsement on that Lock and Lube grease fitting. I’ve been looking at those wondering if they actually worked. Would be handy to grease my farm equipment with.

Maybe your using a right handed chuck on the left side tires! The air is going the wrong way.:p

The Lock n Lube is one of the only “gimmicky” looking tools I’ve ever bought that really lived up to its promise.

I have a couple of driveshaft zerks that, due to angles and clearance, can only be seen or greased. The only way to get on them is from the top side. With a standard chuck, that’s a pain to get right and keep it right with one hand while getting the other hand on the gun to get it started. With the LnL chuck, it’s easier, just snap it on the zerk, then get the gun started pushing grease.

I’ve turned a couple of friends on to these things. For any zerk that’s in an unhelpful location, hard to reach, or just awkward, they work great. They work fine on the easy to reach zerks too.
