Back to Georgetown next week for the hill climb. I noted several cars were sporting GoPro cameras last year and wondered how many use this camera to document hot rod events. I'm looking at the $299 silver model. Thanks in advance for your input.

I did a lot of research and found the silver model was all that most of us would need. After purchasing it I have used it very little, but did discover that the App for a smart phone combined with a dash mount for the phone on my coupe made it very easy to see constant live video and just hit the button on the phone to start recording. I currently have it loaned out to a good friend that is running the hill climb and am hoping to have some cool photos/vid from it. We have 4 of us heading up from PHX tomorrow morning. Our group is the Red Devils Hot Rods, please stop and say hi if you see any of us, always great to meet fellow HAMBers.

Driving to Georgetown from Phoenix this weekend? Hope you brought a warm jacket, it may get more chilly up there than you are used to. Going to be fun!
