BigBlockMopar - Here's the car that started it all back in the late '40's. The '48 Cadillac was the first with the fins, the fins on this car were designed by Frederick Hurley working with the Harvey Earle design department of GM. The fins design came from the WWII P-38 Lighten fighter plane. Here a photo of the '49 Cadillac Sedanette same car as the '48 only with different front sheet medal.
