Okay I’ve narrowed the companies that I’m going to order my wiring harness from for my 1950 Buick, down to the following three companies. I’m looking for input positive or negative that people may have experienced with any of them. The three companies are:

Rhode Island Wiring Service Inc. http://www.riwire.com/
    Harnesses Unlimited http://www.harnessesunlimited.com/
    YNZ Yesterdays Parts http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Scott

If they're some sort of period-correct harness vendor, then best wishes?

If you want a good,American-made,MODERN,easily id'd and wired harness, may I suggest Rebel Wire here on the HAMB?
Glenn offers excellent customer service and has a great product too.Great price.
I do not know him aside from ordering a harness from him.I like the harness a lot.
Best of luck with your project!

are you restoring to original or building a driver? neverheard of any of them, are they resellers of other co's harnesses?

  5. all three of them look like they are stock wiring harnesses , which would be fine if you are restoring your car and all your electrical components are stock...like gauges , starter , generator , switches etc. tell us more about your plans , are you adding AC , power windows etc. you may be better off with something else

of the three your gave us links for , the only one i'm familiar with is Rhode Island Wire..they are a good company and have good products. they would be the one i'd use for a stock type harness
