Well it has been way too long!

I posted this car years ago that I was going to be getting her on the road for my dad. Well life got in the way and now is the time. We found a local guy to work on the car since I don't have time or a place to do it.

Car was dropped off on June 5th 2025. I am honestly amazed at the progress made on the car already.

This is what was on it previously but it has no filtration on it. I guess we can run that instead. My dad likes the scoop better anyway.

I wouldn't want to see you lose your car to a fire that could have been prevented. Those foam elements...one carb backfire and they are gone. You see them all the time at swap meets with no foam. Your scoop appears to be a spark arrestor, possible marine. I run bug screens only on my Stromberg's, no filters, runs well and I don't drive in dirty/dusty conditions. You may want to put a finer mesh in there, rocks don't treat cylinders very nice.
