Got the coupe tore down today. Tomorrow we finish welding everything and get the chassis and firewall ready for paint. Also a few people Pm'd me wanting to see the tank mount Mike fabbed up so here are some pics of that as well.

Big day today, got all the chassis parts and frame painted. Next up, finish the firewall.

They are still solid mounted as i see them. Did you not have the ends? I am mocking up a chassis for my coupe and i'm going to do what's not suppose to be done and split them outside the rails. Catch hell, but i had a 31 sedan done that way and as far as i know it's still that way.

We were originally going to mount them on the outside but since I am running fenders there were going to be too many clearance issues. We fabbed up so new mounts. I am pleased with how they turned out.

Big update. Got the axle back from powder coating, chassis painted and assembled, wheels and tires mounted. Chassis is all done. We'll run the brake lines this week.

Yesterday we got the plumbing done on the brakes, I also finished the transmission and got it ready to bolt up. Lastly we got all of the holes filled on the firewall and started shooting it with primer.
