I sold my 29 Ford Sedan 5+ years ago to finish a 64 C10 project I was working on. After it was completed I realized I really missed having a HotRod and being part of this forum. I didn’t have it long before putting it up for sale. The hunt was on for a Traditional HotRod. I found this 32 Ford 5 window but hadn’t sold the C10 yet. A Big Thank You to GregCT on here for waiting for me to sell my truck and not selling it while I tried selling the truck. Not a lot of people would do that. The people on here have always been helpful and supportive and I’ve really enjoyed them and missed being a part of this group. I’m very happy to be back. Here is one picture. I’ll put more up soon.
If you come out and find it on cinder blocks - I've "borrowed" your wheels and tires. They have the perfect era look.
Good luck getting a Jack under it. Bring your lead hammer to get the spinners off. Also, don’t forget your body armor. Lol.
Good News to have the favorite 5 window upon return. Looks to have "The look" Keep us informed of how the affair is going.
Yeah, I was kidding. I’ve got a couple good spots to put a jack. That hole in the door looks like it works well for you. Nice!
It does have “The look” or at least the one I was searching for. I checked out quite a few of them but always came back to this one. There were a couple of other candidates but I missed out on them. They got sold as fast as they went up for sale.
I got this hood and an original grill shell. I’d need to modify the side panel to accommodate the alternator. What do you guys think? I could run just the top. I could get one fiberglass side so as not to cut the original. Or it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Plenty of time to think about it but I was just wondering.
I'd run the hood top first, if you want/need one, then consider your options. Can you tuck the Genny in?
That’s a good idea. I’m not sure if I can tuck the Genny. I don’t want it to close to the manifold and I don’t think I have the room on top.
Since it's not a SBC I wouldn't hide it. At most I'd run a 1 piece top if I was venturing out when there was a chance of rain.
The car looks good. I wouldn't hide the motor and would just use the top of the hood. I think the motor is a big part of what makes the car look good.
A great find. I saw this a while ago but could not sell my 32 sedan to get the cash to go for it. ENJOY
Thank you. I’m surprised I was able to get it before it sold. GregCT held it for me till I sold my truck. I really appreciate him doing that for me. I’ve seen a few other 32’s out there but this one fit the bill. I was looking for as “Traditional” as I could find and a little rough around the edges. I can’t handle worrying about my paint job and I didn’t want pretty interior. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it’s not my style. I’m really happy with it. Can you show me your Sedan. I considered a Sedan but a 5 window is what I really wanted.
Sure Steve it is posted in the car for sale section on the Hamb Look for 1932 Sedan. Any questions please give me a shout cell 203-233-5901 Thanks Tom Gormley
