Wow! What a saga, and I have no idea how I missed this thread until now. And Blecha? How on earth he came up with those ideas, especially the red felt, is beyond me.

I had tried everything else. Kept breaking balancers/splitting key ways. After that it never hurt another thing to this day. My own machinist at the time Marion Fairchild was indeed impressed that it worked. An even used it a few times on other six builds. Same results. As Marion said. Live and Learn.

Appears the Journey continues. God keeps smiling on me.
Paul Martinez text me today and sent these pics. He found my data folder /build sheets/including the cam card/ and the extra blower pulleys and the header tips I had to cut off to ship. This is the cam that Jack selected for me personally when I gave him all the specs and the fact that it was going to be a blower motor. 7746510600915140938.jpeg 4720936916622998971.jpeg

Paul sent the rest of the parts /from the blower motor. Today they showed up.
A spare blueprinted rod. New set of rod bearing never opened. Two overdrive pulleys for blower. Tips that I cut off of the zoomies. And the data sheets and cam card. IMG_4153.jpeg
