Hey All, Just wanted to post some pics after finishing up the '30 Tudor.
It took 2 years and two months with some help from some good friends.
Wanted to thank the HAMB. This place is an incredible source of both knowledge and parts. This was my first traditional build.
I have read hundreds of threads and followed dozens of builds.

The rod is pretty standard stuff: started with a complete '30 Tudor.
The interior and paint were done sometime around '59-'60, everything else was all stock Model A.
    We added a 59AB,and a '48 F-1 trans, pedals and cross member.
Had the stock front axle dropped and used the F-1 brakes on all for corners.
Used a 35-36 banjo and grafted it together with the F-1 rear to use the F-1 rear brakes.
Went with the open drive conversions, 35-36 split rear bones and some additional braces from the top of the banjo to the frame.
Welded up the drive shaft exhaust.
Moved the fuel tank to behind the rear seat.
Made the dash from two dash rails and some steel .
The grill shell is made from two Model A commercial shells.
Carved the ornament from some resin and acrylic, and had it cast.

    Already planning the next one!
    Thanks again to the HAMB!!

    Impressive Sir!
Have you had it out on a shakedown yet?
The hood ornament is a fine finish to a lot of labor.
    Well done!

I believe the dash gauge is 50 Ford and the steering wheel is 51 Ford.

Most of all build what you want, do what you want, it's your car. My uncle has always said, "If you like it, I love it." Meaning doesn't matter if he likes it or not, because it isn't his car.

You've been reading, learning and building instead of b.s.ing.

Good job. Enjoy the fruit of your labor.

Yes, those are 16" hubcaps - Lyons.
And no it will really never be "done"!
