The car looks killer, I love how clean & ungaudy it is outside and I like the upholstery, but.... IMHO the shifter and console ruins everything you did right. I'd rather see the gauges in a nice chrome panel under dash, stock shifter and a stelthed stereo. The car is pure class cept it's got a shifter that looks like it belongs in a RR. .

  3. Who did the work?..it came out great. Congrads.

Wow, that is sweet. I don't normally like those cars chopped, but that is excellent. Great work.

If it were my car I'd remove the console, too street rod, and change the shifter, too rat rod.

But it's not my car so my opinions just that... an opinion.

Other than that... that car is awesome.

That is the nicest rod I have seen in quite awhile. (still drooling here)

  12. I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion,,and we know what opinions are like,,

    Here's mine,,

The car is stunning and well built and almost built to perfection and then it appears you stepped back and said.." what can I do to mess it up",when it came time to do the interior.

I know lets add a goofy shifter and a street rod looking gauge panel.,,that's just mine opinion and it only counts with me,,,no offense intended,,but it just don't fit the style of the beautiful car you created. HRP

The car looks great but that long shifter seems out of place for the car. Maybe shorten it up about a foot. Just my 2 cents.

wow!! i love it! question, i'm planning on chopping mine, but no one seems to say what they do for the glass and trim after you chop it. did you just get the stock rubber trim and cut it down, or did you take it to a glass shop and have them do the trim and glass?
again, awsome job, i can't imagine the day that i finish mine.

nice car. nice color. congrats on a job well done. even though i have to say i'm not a big fan of the shifter and the radio, your attention to detail shows you spent an awful lot of time on this build. (is it me, or in the 5th picture down, is the front bumper is crooked?)

  21. Get on down with your bad self!! Smokin lines, I really admire your stylized interior, lottsa people love the killer stock look, I am one!, but really admire the outstanding original work man. The whole mahine is dead on!! Thanx for showin us the hot rod brother!! Rock on<> ~Sololobo~

Nice! One tiny suggestion, this might seem like it's from left-field, I never thought of this until my buddy pointed out to me on my car... Put some wipers on it. 50's customs were for the most part functional, and had things like that, it's sort of a convincing car-like detail... maybe they're a visual hiccup, but so are the bullets. (And I agree about the shifter & console, but enough has been said about that.) 99% killer tho! Awesome car-

  25. Just a suggestion, for the shifter length and gauge location...
