..... a place where reglular people hang out and talk about thier real homebuilt Rods! This place is great thanks for letting me in!!!

Well up here in the corner , Maine only has a few rodders. Most do build themselves. There are a couple shops around , but I have yet to find any "old skool" guys! I was into Jeeps for quite a while. Big Jeeps CJ's w/ 1 tons and 36"++ tires ! Well about a 3 years ago a backinjury started dampening the Jeep fun. This spring I sold almost all of the Jeep stuff. I still have a 56 CJ6 left.Who knows maybe a V8 , tubbed .....hmmmmmmmm.
Since high school I have had a soft spot for T Buckets. Now is the time for me I quess. I have been collecting parts for about 3 months. Shooting for a 27 tub , 30 -40 " functional bed. Somewhere around 110" wheel base. SBC, P-glide , AMC 20hd rear . Basic basic rod , steelies , 32" rears 28" fronts, body channeled 3-4",
    Parts I have collected:
    SBC - stock , Predator carb. , zoomies ,
    P-Glide - stock
    AMC 20HD - 3.73 - locker, drums , coilovers
    Wildwood dual remote master
4" drop front tube , ford spindles , hyd shocks
    2x3 tubing for frame

Hope to have a frame built in about 2 weeks. I am fortunate to work at a truck equipment shop. I have at my disposal , hyd brake(1/4" out to 10'),
hyd shear 1/4"out to 10' , many MIGs , plasma cutter , basically any all metal fab tools I'll ever need along with a fairly large stock of all shapes / sizes of both steel and alum.
Well sorry to have boredyou with all this! Again thanks for letting mehang around!
