If it's been so long in getting one you must have a plan on how you'd like it to end up. Can't believe your just going to fill the tank and drive it. Well, maybe a couple of tanks but then you must be planning something else................right?

Cool deal man. Not quite my cup of tea how it is now, but if its the genuine deal.... Its a good score man. Congats! I do dig Deuce 3ws! Full hood, and some new shoes? Looks to be an original frame, or at one time possibly had fendrers.

It is a real Steel 32. A friend of mine built it. It was built without fenders but the holes weren't filled because he wanted the option to add them later if he wanted to. Glad that you are happy with the car.

Thanks for more info Chopdtop, the more I learn the happier I am. The car started good and idled good but it would spit back through the carb whenever you gave it some throttle. An adjustment of the timing and carb and the motor runs great, can't be much time on it as the paint on the motor is like new yet. After the timing, then it wouldn't turn over, found the batt. ground lead with a bad repair. The original frame is very nice except where dot 3 leaked and ruined the paint but fixable. I want turn signals so I took out the column and I'm going to put a tilt column in with a banjo steering wheel. Replaced the mustang steering box with a good one so that will take care of the steering. I already am removing the trunk lid solenoid and power windows and going back to original. I'm taking the dash out and welding up the headlight sw. and trunk lid release button holes and then the dash will be close to original. I'll keep the gauges and interior for now and just work on the doors, hinge area is messed up on the doors. The guy who upholstered the car did a great job, wonderful fit and easy to take apart to get to the wiring. The car rides good with the air bags in the rear. More later. I am looking for fenders now.

Congrats. I remember the feeling. It took me 15 years to find my Deuce. More pics would be great.

GREAT looking car congrats I wanted a 32 3 window for at least 25 years I searched and searched I passed on lots of cars cause they cost way too much.I passed on one for 3500.00 it was a super nice car all tore apart in about 1989 I bought a boss 302 instead for about half the money. that deuce was worth more than my house and it didnt even have an engine i just couldn't afford it.
I finally bought one last year, real steel and all ford, still cost too damn much ,still worth more than my house It scared the hell out of me to spend that kinda cash on a old car but looking back a year later it was a bargain I cant wipe the smile off my face,v8 fords are a blast.
    Hope you enjoy yours too

  28. I like your plans. 3 windows look great with the fenders.
