I'd rather not say, but the seller and me both thought we got a fair deal. I have pictures of the car in bare metal and it is straight with no rusty floors or frame. I couldn't have gone wrong. I have seen similar cars going for a lot more then what I paid.

    from Texas .

Transmissions are 1:1 in high gear. Overdrive will be 27 percent or close.
Is the overdrive part of the transmission or something added on?
I am using the 84-87 F150 Overdrive in my 31 coupe with Lion Speed.
    Do you have any bumpsteer?

It's a Mitchell OD unit that comes mounted on it's own torque tube. My unit is cable operated. Other Mitchell units have a separate shifter that is mounted next to the shifter on the transmission. Another member posted some links about a guy who was driving his Model A year round and added the Mitchell OD on his A. I haven't encountered any bumpsteer yet, but I've only had the car less then 2 weeks.

Thanks or posting this. I am ready to pull the trigger on just about all the engine goodies your car has. A major purchase to say the least.

So, you mentioned 60-65 cruising. I am just curious how it is getting up to speed? Can you describe how it is? I am ***uming that it is still a babbitt engine with splash oiling?

Thanks for the info and enjoy your beautiul car.

Awesome! There's nothing like an A Coupe. Drive it, enjoy it - have fun with it. Three things I always leave home with at the bare minimum - a phone, a fire extinguisher and a AAA card. Have used them all, more than once. :)

Absolutely cool! Tough to beat a Model A coupe in my book. It just couldn't look much nicer. Good luck with your car.
