Yep I got the 36 Toadster home. We ran into some problems when shipping the 36 up here to St. Louis. Thanks again goes out to BenD and the way he handle our delivery. We actually blew a bag while the 36 was on the trailer and Ben and his son worked in the pouring rain to make sure the car was ok. So I had it dropped of a Clean Cut Creation here in St. Louis. John and I discussed some solutions and I decided to redo the frontend and brakes. So he added tubuler mustang stuff and shockwaves on the front and a new pedal ***emble with power brakes. The car when air out now sits about an inch higher than before but still looks wicked cool when aired out. Thanks John and Joanne for your help. Now its time to get to cranking on the things I can do. Here are some pics. I gotta stop getting these cars when its like 20 degrees outside.

I don't know if a 36 ford could get any more beautifull than that. It looks great by it self, but it looks so cool with you and the kids in front of it.

First day its nice, call me and we will go do burn outs. Im happy for you man.

Beautiful car. One of the things that I dig most is that the kid is standing on a rubber covered running board. I have several friends with painted running boards and they are just an invitation to get a little feller yelled at and make him hate hot rods for life.

    Viva functionality!!!

It was a pleasure to work on your ride Toad! I wish I knew more owners like you. You and the family are welcome at the shop anytime. I hope your son had a great birthday.:D

Thanks guys for the comments on the 36.

Guys, I am 37 now and when I was 17 I worked for Sam at his Rod Shop in OKC sweeping floors and doing dis***embly. Worked for him my senior year in high school and it was the coolest job a car nerd could have. The job at Sam's got me a job at Parr Automotive. There I travel the country for two years selling hot rod part of kinds to people of all kinds. Did this till I was 21 which was 1991. Fast forward 13 years and I actually won the NSRA new product of the year for something that I created. To me getting that little plaque was like winning an Oscar or something, big moment for sure. Sorry for the quick life story but wanted people to know that Sam was right, Toad has grown up.

Nick, brother as soon as it is nice, I am all over that idea. I think this car is going to be fun.

Chili Phil, I have always been a believer that these are just cars, no matter how bad I wanted one. When we had the 32 roaster, my wife would take it and get groceries in it. I took it to the hardware store and got a bag of fertilizer in that little deuce. Now that said, I respect them and wont thrash them, but they are suppose to be fun and not pressure. My son LOVES this ride.

John, thanks agian. Hopefully we will have some other stuff down the road.

Dirty2, the guys at Sachse are good friends, as I'm sure you know. I have done several of the catalog covers as well. My best bud is Mauldin and I have been messing with Milsap since my years at Parr.

Ryan, the caddy caps are something that we have kicked around. Its just such a cool ride now I dont want to be the one accused of screwing it up. Cause trust me I could!!!!

    Thanks again guys....

    Carter

Glad to hear you got it fixed right and got it home. I can't believe how people can get away with hacking together stuff like it was. The car is looking good, don't get rid of it!

    Congratulations.

I agree about what you said that they are to be enjoyed. Jefferson City is only a couple of hours from you. Would you prefer I come up there to drive it or would you like to come down my way for me to roll?

    Good looking family too.
