Finally got me a "family car"...

How about some pics with the steel wheels and 63 caps...I have this car in the classifides but I am thinking about holding on to it...I like it a lot better like this...

So this thread has been dead for a while....due to the fact that I sold the car in September of 2010...after only having the car for 10 months...BIG mistake!!

Fast forward to July of 2012...The guy I sold it to calls me and says he needs to make some room in the shop and the car was for sale. Since I have been kicking myself in the ass ever since I sold it I jumped at the opportunity to get it back. I wont make that mistake again...

Planning on some small fixes...Exhaust manifold leaks, carbeurator leaks, repair clutch pedal, and maybe some PORTER mufflers...going to have some fun with this car...

Anybody else ever regret selling one and bought it back? I instantly slept better after I got it home..

Yeah...I regretted selling my 66 F100, but needed the money.

The current owner knows to call me if he wants to sell.

 

I hear ya!!! we need to get something on the calendar..I plan on taking some road trips in this one..

 

So I have been busy....
Rebuilt the clutch and brake assembly...all new bushings....and I had to take the dash out to do it.......replaced the heater core while I was in there....glad I did it....I did not know it was that bad...and got it all put back together...

Then I decided to do some cleaning under the hood and replace a blown exhaust manifold gasket....just a small leak...I was nervous breaking those manifold bolts loose...I have heard nothing but horror stories about FE manifold bolts. With a lot of PB Blaster and a small torch they all came loose....I got it all put back together and you can hardly hear the thing run...making small progress...
