Well my wheels and grill insert are already white. The top insert will be white and installed right after i get it back. the seat is brown but im going to change it to red and white i think. It really wasnt much to straighten it out. It sat for a month after they did the body work.

Hey thanks for the follow up! That color is the same color of my first Model A coupe I got back in 69. Looks great and brings back a ton of memories! Now get that bad ass seat upholstered! :D

I would have painted body & frame the same...adds to the body dimension.
Your rear height is perfect, tire is radiused with the fender well. Top patch, firewall, grille, wheels... in perfect contrast.

All Chevy V8s are Corvettes, and all Fords are T-Birds.

Nice Coupe. You build like an expert.

I debated painting the frame same as the body, but after looking at tons of pics i thought i liked this way better. The motor is a '67 300 hp 327. Its probably out of an impala or camaro though. I forgot to add thanks!

Thanks. Yep i really wanted something different so i didnt chop it. You cant see it in that pic but i added a 2 5/8 SW vacuum gauge to the firewall on the passenger side.

Looks fantastic! I'm really glad to see you contrasted the frame and body colors. I'm a long ways from paint on my jalopy, but I've been debating if my chassis should be black or blue (the eventual body color). For some reason, the look of a black chassis makes it look like it was built as a true, purpose-built hot rod. Like a hot rodder back in the day bought a '32 chassis (black) and slapped on his maroon Model A body. I kinda dig that look.

You said you did a lot of work on the firewall. Was it patch/repair stuff or was it to notch it for distributor clearance? If you have any other pics of the car, please share them! I really like it! :)

Someone had torched out a big section of firewall and the welded a big plate over it. I dont know why though. I patched it with another firewall and it didnt take much for the distributor clearance. I just cut a u shape then bent it in and pie cut the fire wall and bent those in and then added a bunch of triangles.

Looks great! I really like it and it's nice to see it un-chopped. Chopped isn't always better. Have fun with it.
