After reading the sticky, I'm hesitant to do so. I hardly qualify. I've had some nice high performance cars & hope to have a real traditional Hot Rod someday, although getting one isn't at the very top of my list. Everytime I see an old rod I feel envy, whether it's a work in progress or a finished masterpiece (are we every really finished with our cars?). I do have 32 year old ferrin car with an engine transplant that more than doubles the original HP and improved brakes, suspension etc.,not a traditional hot rod by your definition but by my definition it is a hot rod. I've been lurking here a bit & have got some useful advice & will continue to do so. If I can add anything I will. Thanks for having me here. - M2Pilot.
