Projects Finally got the louvered hood on my 40 Coupe!!

Very nice car. I had mine punched in the 80s and it has never been run. I started to wonder if it would look right with all the stock trim; seeing yours makes me feel better.

 

Here you go, taken today, was taking it a friends shop for some last minute adjustments and it started rattling REAL loud and I pulled off on a ramp where it died and I called AA to finish the trip.

 

Hood looks great as does the rest of the car!

It went to Howard's Flatheads today, he thinks it may have a cracked piston!

 

Yes it is

I guess a cracked piston is better then a cracked block. Still ****s regardless

 

Turned out to be something simple that I did wrong and its fixed
