WOW !!! what a great car to start with!! Congratulations. The local AACA guys around here would kill for that, But it takes a real man to chop one up..LOL...Just kidding. You could go either way with that one,but I would have to have some real horsepower under it. Good Luck, Dale

Wow that is one super clean A. Will it still be at Carl's on the 6th of Nov. Hope so, then I'll get a chance to see it close up and personal.

Chris, give me a call this week.

Wow! Those speed parts on that original car would make an awesome hot rod with no other mods needed. Killer. Congrats on a great car too!

I'm keeping the fenders, and I guess I'm gonna drive it as is for now... I can't believe its mine! It will be mild whatever I do to it... I'm not a flashy person... I like DRD57's chop, I believe he said 3"... so I'll not go more than that I think. Oh, I don't know... I need to sit in a lawn chair and drink a beer and stare at it for a while...:D

    Cool as hell!
    Great looking clean A.
    Yes,
    you are a lucky gal.
Actually this is the best time of all owning these cars.
Right after you receive it and set back and dream of all the possibilities.
Drive it as is and enjoy it before you tear it apart.
Its easy to loose interest when you haven't ever driven them first.
    Great news!

Oh oh...guess I better get cracking on final ***embly of the Mallory. I also weeded some duplicate literature from my collection, so you'll know what to do with those things that aren't turn signals...and the secret location of the starter ****on...and what you gotta do to get a car with no accel pump to start...
And don't forget to really PUSH on that brake pedal.
You will LOVE the low end torque of an A!

Great score Gracie! Keep that four banger and hop 'er up! Remember: Every hot rod started out as a stocker!

I think I know how to start it:
    1. leave key OFF
    2. turn gas on
    3. turn left thing that isn't a turn signal down about 3 notches
    4. turn right thing that isn't a shifter down about 3 notches
    5. turn choke all the way right to see where it is, then 1/2 way back
    6. kick starter ****on (I think)
    7. then turn the key ON
    8. kick starter ****on

Am I wrong? I actually haven't done this yet... that's just what the previous owner told me to do.

I'll try tomorrow after my battery is charged up. I'm missing rear shocks too.
