Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself officially. I love rods (not in a gay way). I am currently working on a 64 f1. I also draw/design for a living in LA LA land as a car designer. Here is some of my work for fun type stuff. The coupe and the plymouth are buddies of mine while I'm not sure who's f1 that is I really like it though. Feel free to comment on anything. If anybody is interested in me drawing thier rods feel free to post or whatever works. Thanks, I love this site.

Thanks guys, yeah the car industry aint what it use to be. To many non-passionate ceo's running the show. Current laws and regulations dont help either. As far as the cars go, the coupe is a buddy of mine named aaron von minden. Nicesest guy in my opinion. He has a cool sight www.savagespeedgarage.com. I do sell the prints and also would be willing to do custom art work of anything pretty much. I'm trying to get a web site up eventually. As far as prices go it depends on if you want a print or a custom image of your ride. I'm not sure what to charge because I know we're all not made of money. Prints depend on what size you want and originals would be around $150 for everything at any size you want. I hope that is a far price as prints can cost up to $100. Again thanks for the welcome. Any feedback is always welcome.

Your work is VERY impressive. I'm curious about HOW you do it. What are your methods and media? If it's a personal trade secret, I totally understand, but it's so clean, and I like the way you leave the original blue lines and perspective indicators in there for a personal stylistic effect. A new and nifty way to simulate speed and flow without speed lines. Hmmm. Again, nice work and welcome.

ive always wanted to become a designer i went to mass art for sculpture and illustration then gave up and became a bodyman at a euroshop, but i had watched that show on discovery called future cars. the narrator had said it was easier for you to be in the nba than to become an automotive designer so that made me feel better about giving up on it, anyways very nice art and good for you if its really that hard to get in that field. again very nice

Hey gigantor, I actually use verithin colored pencils and markers on marker paper. Then I scan it in photoshop and adjust the colors and contrast for more punch. That is what I do in a nut shell.

I never saw futurecar but wanted to. I will agree though, it is extremely difficult to become a car designer. Out of every graduating class about 3 students will get a car job. Unfortunately the payoff is not always the best. It becomes a job and sometimes the fun can be taken out of it. I still can't complain though.
