Yeah no what you mean bout the tire issues! On my 51 I used lowering blocks and had 14s on it. I had to jackit up and deflate too. I cut some coils out of the front to lower it. What route are you taking for the front? Looks good!

Thats some rake! Going to look great when the front is dropped a bit more to even it up.

You can go 2 coils, but it rides a little stiffer.

i didnt use any lowering blocks..all i did was de-arch the leaf springs about 5 inches..as far as the front does iam not gonna cut any coils off at all.iam gonna step notch the front..so it should lower the car about 2 to 3 inches in the front.this way it will keep the stock suspension in tact..i still want a rake or tail drag look to it..once i lower the front.i'll be putting on the skirts with the caddi caps up front..thanks for the comments..keep u guys posted..

Did you have the springs de-arched or did you do them yourself? If yourself, how?:)

Looks great!! I like the color too! I put 4" blocks on mine. To change the rear tire I have to jack the back of the frame, let the tires hang AND use a bottle jack between the axle and frame to push the tire down a little more, AND deflate the tire.. sheeesh.. the price to pay for looking cool is worth it.. Sparky:D

Looks great - I de-arched 4 inches out of the back of my 54 and left the frunt stock - love the taildragger look. IMHO I would use lowering blocks next time as the rear rides a bit choppy. The dearched springs buck and kick when they flex through their arc.

That looks really good. Can't wait to see the finished product, although I like it just the way it is too.
