Thanks, Its very "different" color. Its Hot Rod Flatz olive drab brown. And i am going to be putting the white color down with some big metalflake.
Thanks. i spent alot of time blocking it out and getting it as straight as possible. I give any bodyman credit because it's not easy. This is my second time painting a car, and im pleased as the results. But i need the practice if that what i want to do.
Nice....I've got a 2nd owner 52 Chevy that I pamper, can't decide which way to go since the car is basically 100 percent stock, with nothing missing. I like your choice of colors, what a way cool ride to have in HS. Isn't body work fun...LOL.
Nice, if it were mine i would make a mild kustom out of it. Just lower the rear a little bit, and slap some hubcaps on it. Oh and by the way them dummy spotlights don't leave home without them.
I drove a '54 Chevy to high school... but that was in 1975! Cool ride. Enjoy it and as others have said, be smart and be safe!
That's awesome! I drove a 55 Chevy with a 235 and fenton headers when I was in high school during the early 90's. Rebuilt the car after college but still have it today. Enjoy that ride of yours, it's looking great!
Wow man, I just found this thread. Your a lucky guy. Let me tell you, your car will be the one remembered. All the posers with their cracker jack box, jap **** cars will be lost and forgotten. Yours will live on in high school memories forever. When the cuties ask for a picture next to your car just say sure! I have no doubt that before long your going to have a long list of young ladies that want a ride. Have fun, go low and slow. Dom
very cool thread! i to am in school and restoring a old chevy. hope my 49 looks as good as this when im done!
