I know there is about a million A coupe builds on here, but I couldn't resist showing off several months of labor. Of course it was a labor of love. Ah there is nothing better than firing it up for the first ride! Since the picture I've put the wood in the top, and for all of you traditional guys screaming about the radial tires, I will be getting them at the Spring Charlotte Autofair. I pretty much ran out of car funds. Oh well, at least I can still drive it around. Hope you like it. It was a pain in the ass at times, but it was worth it when I turned the key!

Jmon, the car looks real good! Stance is nice and tall, the unchopped body looks super. Perfect. As you already said; a nice set of bias tires on there, and you've got a really nice hot rod! I'd dig seeing some more pics of it complete, as well as some shots of the build, if you've got any! And let's see that interior; I'd like to see what you've got going on in there.....

Whats up man. I was down your way Sunday. Hit me up so we can go terrorize the locals. Oh anbd guys I've crwaled all over this car at a local show. This thing is beyond sweet. I went back like 5 times to look at it. Did you ever get a regulator on that thing?

Like the small channel and no chop. Looks like a solid body too. Nice!

Thanks, for the positive comments. It means alot coming from this site where there are some great cars. This was my first build after all so I was able to gain alot of knowledge from reading and looking at tons of pics on here. I've got alot of hours on the HAMB. To the question about initial problems, yeah I guess like everyone else I had some problems on the first couple of runs, and I am still ironing out some of the gremlins. Actually on the first run my wife and son had to bring a lug wrench for you know what, yeah left the lug nuts loose of all things. Anyways here are a couple more pics from the build. I'll try to get some more when I find where I put them on my computer.

  20. Great! I wouldn't mind my coupe to turn out as nice as that. I love that you haven't chopped the top. Refreshing!!

    I love it.
