I just gave the ole girl a good night kiss and locked up the garage. Kansas and Ray Gun got the motor all back together while I was at work. Rulers. While they got my 2 new tires mounted, I came home and put back in the radiator and the grille. Then Paul (the motor GURU) came over and we fired her up. Holy ****, she sounds GREAT! After the 30 minute break in, Paul redid my shift linkage cause I had it not adjusted properly. Once that was done, Ray Gun and I drove around town for a couple miles. It drives great. Like a monster.

    Austin, here I come.

THANKS to Ray Gun, Kansas, Cyclebilly, Hotrod34, Thom, Paul, Silent Rick, Thirdyfivepickup, and my Dad for all the help, and thanks to my wife for the support.

**** yeah. Pics tomorrow. I'm driving her to work too, after I throw on the bumper.

We leave for Texas Wed morning. I can't wait to take of pic of my car next to Ryan's car.:D

I hope it sounds good. I wanted to get you the "extra lumpy" cam but settled for one that would work with your combination better. It should still have a pronounced idle quality.

    I hope you don't whoop Chris50 too badly... :D

    Good luck on your trip!

So far so good. The only issue thus far is the car is rolling in park.

I've put about 45 miles on it so far.

    Here's the pics...

I had Lokar make up a special speedo cable from C4 to Early Ford last year. I tried to put it in, but it was a huge ordeal and it didn't work. This time I was able to get it to work. THis speedo hasn't worked in at least 36 years. :)

At my office. Still haven't put the caps back on yet. Looks kinda cool w/o. Think its a good idea to leave them off for a 3000 mile trip?

    Me too!

Funny that it looks like it sits level in this pic but perfect in the other.
