I've been lurking around here for awhile and finally decided to join up. I live in Cayuga Indiana, five miles from the Newport Hill Climb and about 15 miles from Jungle Park Speedway. I've got a 1948 Chevy pickup and collect vintage toy trucks and construction toys as well as to toy race cars and all kinds of automotive and advertising stuff. As the name says the truck is lo-buck and so is most of my collection although I have found some good deals on some cool pieces. I'm collecting parts to build a modified or a model a someday so I might have some newbie questions from time to time.
Welcome! I have a project 51 Chev truck. Owned it since '92 and not much has happened since then. You running with the original and motor? Chris
Hi i am a FNG too, i just started a 50 chevy pickup also. I put it on a S10 frame and stuffed a 425 caddy in her.. Its far from being done and I just moved so it will for a few years now.
It's an older build on a Camaro subframe with Nova rear. My nephew is doing one on an S10 also but it is in the early stages right now.
