I would keep the skinny whites, don't follow the herd.
Although I have wides on my '52 Customline right now.

Looks good! Nice proportions, Olds tailights looks great. Some kind of metallic paint would work, but loosing the red wheels is a good start...:D and please don't put skirts on it;)

  10. the wheel color is going soon i hate red wheels with a p***ion

any one that will photoshop them a few different colors would be the man like black, lime green, those are my two but any colors you think would look good would be helpful

and i ****in despise skirts so forget that

Nice job on the bodywork.. Was there a lot of rust down low to deal with? Seems like all the 52-54 Fords are prone to rustout. Mine sure was!

  14. well actually i bought the car as pretty much a Shell with the body work pretty much done which is good cuz i **** at it, the majority of the rest of the car was in crates and rubbermaid tubs

but yeah it has new floors and i believe the quarters were patched as well as the rockers

though the trunk is stock and has no rust

I love those taillights. I put a set of those in a shoebox once. they have a 5" diameter (just close to that)

    Sweet custom...keep us posted. :)

  24. I was playing in photoshop with a pic of a 52 Ford like mine last night, I was trying to match the color of some of that cheapo Ebay auto paint... Dark Burgundy with a silver roof. 55 Olds headlight rings, '65 Corvair bumper for a grill bar.
