I've been waiting several months for the stars to line up so I could have a top put on the car. Took it in last Tuesday and got it back today. Had carpet installed while it was there. Seems to be a significant change/improvement. Great experience all around! 005.JPG 006.JPG

You should keep that car. (if you fit in it ok) It just looks right to me, as a rod

It would get door glass if I had it, because I can't warm up in my "golden years"

I hear ya! Door windows are way down the list for now. I did have side curtains made. It was @35 degrees when I drove it out to the upholstery shop. Fourteen miles out there but the sun was shining and I slouched down in the seat to avoid some of that air coming over the windshield.

Part of my motivation was to not to have to have this pre-cancerous stuff burned off my ears and neck every year or two.

Love the top! Sure you don't want to chop it another 2"?? That would make it look even cooler in my opinion!!

Mike: Yep, He bound the edges and put snaps in it so I can remove it if I need to clean it or do maintenance on something.

Tim: I lost the hood top to the corner of the garage. I don't like it on.

That looks great. I remember reading something someone wrote in a car magazine one time that basically said, "Never put a top on your roadster because you will never take it off again and it will no longer be a roadster." I have never had one on mine, but my Son has one on his rpu and I have to admit it looks good and we have been out on very cold nights and the top does keep some of the cold off of you.

    Don,
I have a top on my deuce roadster and it is great for long**** road trip like out to the salt in August. But I love taking it off for just screwing around local and short road trip less than 100 or so miles. Plus the wife hates it with the top off so if she is going along....top is on. Happy wife makes a Happy hot rodder.....

I agree!!! If we could only get that money thing sorted out. It just screws up so many things.
