Post some pics. '55 Lincoln is a cool and somewhat unusual car. What are your plans for it?

Like Scotch said....drop it. Although my last two rides have been bagged, I probably wont bag the Lincoln. But it'll definately go down. Its a hunter green of sorts and I MAY stick with the same color. I have my own body shop so paint is the first thing that comes to mind. Probably flake the piss out of the roof. Fat white walls.
I paid 2K for the car...67**x original miles....I can put gas in the carb and fire it up but I'll be changing the fluids, battery, and all that good stuff before driving it. The car was formerly owned by a local State Representative who recently p***ed away so she has some history with her. Everything is still on the car, and intact, minus the few dings and very little surface rust on the bumpers. Even has the factory trunk mat and spare tire. Factory carpet with a torn front bench seat and a sagging headliner.

My only question for now is this.....the hood emblem and trunk emblem/latch are chrome and anodized gold...I ***ume its anodized anyways.....was this a luxury package similar to the Bel Air by Chevy?

All that gold came at no charge on a Lincoln ... the more you spent, the more gold you got. Be sure the exhaust gets taken care of soon, & welcome ! Pics ?

Thanks for the info 302. So does the exhaust need to be taken care of because of some problem I may encounter...or is it just because it needs a better sound?

BTW...Im open for suggestions on exhaust choices

The trucker mudflap girl looks kinda out of place on the front bumper... But jeesus - what a beautiful car! Nice find!

The trucker chick was my buddies "joke". I guess not everyone appreciates things that they should.
