Thanks to recent NorCal transplants Johnny and Shaun Hartman, (Hartmankustomz here on the HAMB) I'm getting the body and paint done on the Tudor... It's going to shoot my $5000.00 budget all to hell, but I knew that was gonna happen, and I've seen these guy's work, and while I don't want to divulge the price, let's just say I must have caught them at a weak, bored, moment. I'm going with a kinda "shiny primer" gray, with some red pinstriping (to match the old powder coated Tru-Spokes) around he beltline, on the old gas door on the cowl, and I'm going to let Shaun just use his imagination on the back panel. Johnny just said that if he was gonna paint it, he wanted to know what was underneath, and so it began...
Don't need no stinkin' fenders..... I live where it rains 80-100 inches a year, so I'll probably end up making motorcycle fenders from a spare tire outer ring... I may see if I can find a small stainless one from a Motorhome, as rust up here is a constant problem, plus, I am about 500 feet from the Pacific Ocean. If Humboldt Cat Tim, Crusty Nut, or any other Nor Cal guys want to take a look, the website for these guys is: www.northcoastkustoms.com
