Ive had a couple of 32s and a Willys, but my real interest has always been the old roundy rounders from the early 50s. For the last 30? years while my buddies were busy drinking their beer, I was making my way through the blackberrys and bugs in some old abandoned junkyard trying to get to the back row..where all the good stuff is.
Welcome from the West Coast of Florida. I agree with you that history and tradition are very important things to always remember. I also used to spent time walking in junkyards looking for parts for my late 40's and early 50's cars. In those day's when I was about 15 or 16 I did not have much money to spend on parts and the thought of buying something new was out of the question. I learned how to make do with less and along the way I also learned how to fix things because that was the only way I could afford to do it.
