FINALY!!! paint on the Bug...

it has been one ordeal after another gettin the paint done on CherryBlossom's Bug but i think i finaly got it thanks in large part to MikeO. we ran out of green (HOK limetime) last weekend and it was a little thin, so i scuffed it down and shot another half a quart of color on it today then cleared the piss out of it. i'm not a painter so it was a godsend being able to have MikeO coach me through it, plus watchin him do the rest of the paint the past two weekends. it looks good and whe i'mdone wet sanding and wheeling it out it should look great (as long as i don't screw somethin up).

MMMMMMM-Cool!-I've heard of this thing you speak of......paint ,....is that its name?

 

Can't wait to see it out in the sunlight. Looks good there should look even better in person. A little chrome and those Empi wheels will really make that thing pop. Tell CB I said Hi and I'll see you guys next week.

what we really want is some of the SMOOTH steel VW wheels so we can paint em Limetime and run a small chrome cap i the middle with wide whites rapped all around. then we'll have the 50s style painted steelies and the 60s style mags and blackwalls. that'd be cool and we could run what we want depending on our mood.
