found these super cool seats made of cast aluminum for $7 a set at the flea mkt this weekend also got a torker intake for $8 and a blackflag old time sprayer for $2 the deals are out there
Great find man, its nice when you get a break once in a while.. I had a guy that I went to see about a 57 Fairlane for 1000 bucks.. it was a pos, but he had a 53 GMC 1/2 ton stepside sitting there , no motor trans. I asked him about that, he said 25 bucks, and you can have the 59 Apache fleetside for 100, as well as the all the 57 Ford parts in the shed.. (a whole car all pulled apart)..for 100 more. Not trying to overshadow your find, as it was excellent, I'm just saying usually I get the shitty end of the stick in most deals and its nice to see someone else get the clean end. Never had another good deal since. I guess I got mine...
I did but its gone.. I sold almost all that stuff. Got the 59 running a few weeks ago, put a 396 in it, orig trans. I think its in Oregon or Idaho now.. Was a cool truck, big window, 8 foot bed, and all. I wish I knew what it was worth when I traded it.. I got the shitty end of the stick once again on that deal..
Bought some Guides for $20 at a local antique store. I also dug this thing out of a corner from under a pile of old bicycles and furniture. It's a Merc. I feel dirty every time I think about how little I paid for it.

I bought a 10 cent bubble gum machine broken glass and half full of rotten nuts for $8 in 1973. When I opened it up there was $13 plus in change in it.
