I think that Angels Flight has been restored and is running again. If you are interested I will find some info.

 

Anybody know where I can rent a time machine capable of carrying a couple of cars?

 

Hard to believe, but it seems like half the cars were coupes!

 

As someone who has never been to the U.S., but loves old cars and old movies I have really enjoyed watching this clip and the second one showing as the area is now.
The first thing I noticed was the almost total absence of white walls, the roadster discussed being the exception,
I understand this would have been the norm just post war. Secondly just how "cold" modern architecture can be.

The comparison video is nearly unbelievable and really sad.
In Europe many old city centers and houses were wiped out during the war but in this case they did it voluntarily.
