Hello all, my problem is locating an inexpensive 28 spline big bearing axle from what I believe a 64 ford truck. This rear end was supposed to be a bargin, but after removing the pumpkin and discovering 1 in of shavings it has turned out to be nightmare. I replaced the carrier with a spare and now found a bent axle shaft. A machine shop can repair the shaft for $60 but they will have to replace the bearing and can not gaurantee that it does not break in the process. Does anyone know of an internet store where I can find a shaft?

9" truck rears are like weeds around here. I've got 3 sitting in my shop, 2 more at my dad's ranch, and know where there's a ton more. If you're near Austin, get a hold of me.
