well today i fixed my transmision crossmember and busted trans mount. i had to cut the top out of my crossmember and weld a replacement top in it . the person that put the engine and trans in butcherd the original piece by cuting and welding and scabing it . and since they had it off center when done , it made my drivers side manifold hit my steering box. its hard to beleive it but i was able to take the top part of the trans mount i took out and drill 2 holes in it for the new mounts studs. then welded it in the corect spot over top of the crossmember . it was a perfect fit . now my engine and trans are riding on rubber again. so now i can go to the exhaust shop and get the pipes fixed right so there not hitting the frame anymore . one more step down in making this drivetrain right . next project putting in my new rear leafs.
