Well, I got the box back together. I heated the gear to 300 for 30 minutes and froze the shaft for the same time. I had to weld some tabs on the shaft to get it to sit well in the car.

We got our new house and close in a month so I need to get this thing finished up so I can drive it over there!

New gear on the shaft now....

The finished and adjusted box, until my 600W comes in to check it again........

Recovery from surgery is taking longer than expected so it's tough to keep going as I'd like.

Use straight STP for lube. It wont harden and stick to the case like the original did, it stays liquid and does its job, yet not so liquid it runs out. Its amazing how this hobby helps to cure a person after surgery. Get better soon.

Dang. I already ordered a quart of $23 600W. I'll have to grab some STP and see how it stands up. Thanks!

I have been through so many surgeries to include 2 reconstructive plastic surgeries and none of them could keep me from my wrenching.

    Thanks
