Your ch***is and motor are looking pretty good, nice job.
I have one of these blowers on a sbc and it takes a serpentine belt.
It looks like yours is running a v-belt.
Did you make your own pulley or can that be bought somewhere?

    Beautiful!
Ok, next question, please explain the brake m/c switch to the p*** side?

  6. The reason the brake light switch is on the p***enger side . I can get to it if it goes bad easy. Yes I realize it will cost me a little more wire. I will build the harness anyway using cloth covered wire. Also I mounted the master cyl. on the p***enger side pointing to the front of the car. I was after that location, because you can get to the Master cyl. to check the fulid and you dont have to cut a hole in the floor pan. You cant see it in the photos. I made a bracket to mount the master cyl. and bolted it to the center crossmember. I drilled a hole in the crossmember and the brake master cyl. rod runs back thru the crossmember to the reworked orginial cross shaft. When you put your foot on the brake pedal it moves the orginial rod rearward that is hooked to the cross shaft on the drivers side. That arm is on top of the cross shaft The rod that moves the piston in the master is on the p***enger side and its on the bottom of the shaft witch causes that arm to move forward pushing the piston forward in the master cyl.

  11. Burning 53, I am sorry I did not answer your question on time. I had been out of town. I went with the flat belt because you get a better grab on the blower pully and you can use the spring loaded tensioner to keep the belt tight. Yes it doesnt look as vintage.
Give Joe Abbin a call at Roadrunner Engineering. He as the v belt pullys in stock. He has them made. Phone 505 2686768 I hope this will help you.
