finned backing plates

    any one ever put Wilson finned backing plates on a ford 9" rear

    Yes. However, decided not to use them since the brakes were largely concealed. Also wanted a parking brake and didn't feel that it was feasible on their plates.

    What do you want to know? You will need a spacer to make it work right. You also need to have them drill them correctly for the new or old flange pattern, depending upon what you have. They couldn't get mine right. Ended up welding the holes, turning them, and then redrilled.

    If Wilson's dont put park brake stuff in their rear brakes it seems they have not done all the work!!!
