Twenty-ninth edition of the Firebird Swap Meet in western Idaho. Sharing a couple images from the one day event that also included some racing too.
Debut pass down the dragstrip for the "Agent Orange" `56 Gasser - unleashed an impressive 10-flat, 133 mph. It was hands down one of coolest laps of the day.
Nick Smith never ceases to impress all the Gasser fanatics with his "No Quarter" Henry J that ran into the mid-10's.
Gassers gearing up for the 43rd Oldies but Goodies Drags at Firebird that returns June 10-11 to Firebird, which includes the wheels up "Bad Bird" Falcon.
We arrived at the swap meet at about 9:00 AM, quite a line up of vehicles moving through the gates. We made it to the parking lot pretty fast! Weather was great. There was more vendors then I have ever seen at this event. Walked my feet off! I did find a few items to buy that I was looking for, and a few other items too. Prices were good, so it was a good day. And I did meet a lot of Hot Rod friends I only see at the car events. So I say it was a great day!
