firestone ribbed front ?

    ok every catalog i see these in adverstises them with tubes but on the side of the tire it says tubeless. so the question for everyone running them is are you using tubes or not? thanks

    The reason for using a tube in a tubeless tire, is maybe the rim, old rims is missing a bead, preventing the tire to leave the rim if the airpressure is to low, and you are cornering real hard.
    My tireman refused to mount my tubeless tires on my old rims, for this reason.

    That;s a good point. I had a set of Vogue tubeless on my 55 Olds years ago and I just touched a curb with one while parking and it bumped the tire bead off the rim and down it went, all the way flat and floppy.
    I stayed away from parallel parking after that!
