First car show since the build

Made the first car show with my coupe since the build this weekend. Had a blast. Answered alot of questions. People called it a RatRod, I call it a HotRod.

 

Looks like a hot rod to me

 

Yep, that's a hot rod alright. My 55 chev gets called a r-rod just because it's not totally finished and it's flat black. Let's face it, people don't really know how the tell the differance or they just don't know any better.

HOT ROD!!! The words rat rod is getting outta hand. Nothing rat about it. Looks cool. Good job I like the red frame but of course cuz its my fav color.

Sure looks like a Hot Rod to me.
I have even heard people calling late models with primer 'rat rods' now. I doesn't matter thought, they listen to that techno crap and call it music!

 

To me, the first indicator that it's not a R**Rod is a lack of farm implements or other goofy shit welded or wired onto it for no good reason.
I also notice that you are not running a late model coil spring a-arm front end with no fenders.
That engine doesn't look like it was pulled out of the salvage yard yesterday.

So, good try, but I think you failed in your attempt to build a R**Rod.

The Labeling thing means nothing to me.
I like this car no matter what it is.

 

Regardless...I really like it...the filled roof and the rumble seat are standout items that I like...

I think it does matter... it is a well built good looking hotrod ....... A lot of time and effort went into this car.... It is not some rusty throwed together piece of shit.....
